Artist Statement

I am a contemporary figurative sculptor based in Pennsylvania.

The human figure has always been at the center of my work—not as a portrait of a specific person, but as a universal expression of identity, emotion, and the shared human experience. My sculptures seek to communicate through form, gesture, and proportion, allowing the viewer to find meaning without unnecessary complexity.

I am deeply influenced by the traditions of figurative sculpture, yet my goal is not to recreate the past. I strive to create work that is contemporary in its language while remaining rooted in craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and a respect for the human form. Rather than pursuing photographic realism, my work seeks emotional presence through simplified planes, fragmented textures, and symbolic form.

Each sculpture begins with a search for clarity. I continually refine the composition until every element serves the whole and nothing feels extraneous. When form, technique, and emotion come together, the sculpture speaks with its own quiet voice.

My work is an exploration of what it means to be human—our strength and vulnerability, our individuality and shared experience. Rather than providing answers, I hope each piece invites viewers to pause, reflect, and discover something of themselves within the sculpture.
